In the golden autumn of October, the aroma of seafood fills the air. On October 29, the 2025 Qingdao International Expo officially kicked off. It is reported that this year’s expo covers an area of 115,000 square meters and brings together 1,547 registered exhibitors from 47 countries and regions, showcasing in a comprehensive manner the innovative achievements and development opportunities across the entire aquatic product industry chain. Yida Food is presenting its core products at the expo, joining hands with guests from around the world to explore cooperation opportunities.

The core highlight of Yida Food’s booth is undoubtedly its line of products sourced directly from Dongluodao—located at 26° north latitude, a prime region for kelp cultivation. These products include frozen kelp seedlings, frozen firecracker shoots, as well as various salted and ready-to-eat varieties. Among them, the kelp seedlings, hailed as the “umami of the sea” in the vegetarian cuisine world and consistently ranking high on hotpot vegetarian menus, have drawn many visitors to stop and sample them. This product category is further subdivided into premium seedlings, select seedlings, hand-torn seedlings, and catering-segment seedlings, based on length, thickness, and texture, allowing for precise matching with the diverse needs of restaurant chains and group catering purchasers. On the first day of the expo, the tasting area was bustling with activity. Whether enjoyed fresh and crisp in hotpot dishes or served as a refreshing appetizer to cut through richness at banquets, Dongluodao’s kelp seedlings effortlessly shine. At the scene, praise for their “freshness, tenderness, crispness, and smoothness” kept pouring in.

In addition, thanks to the technical support provided by the academic team led by Academician Zhu Beivi, as well as by universities and research institutes such as Fuzhou University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and Jimei University, Yida Food’s multi-flavored ready-to-eat product line has received widespread acclaim. The convenience of being able to enjoy these products right out of the package, combined with the fresh, ocean-fresh flavor that can be savored anytime, anywhere, has generated an enthusiastic response at the tasting event.

From raw material control at the front end to finished-product development at the back end, and through specialized OEM customization services, Yida Food continues to deepen its involvement in the entire kelp industry chain, committed to providing customers with precise and efficient collaborative solutions. During the exhibition, Lin Zhiliang, Vice Mayor of the Fuzhou Municipal People’s Government, also visited the Yida booth for an exchange, offering positive feedback on the company’s comprehensive layout and practical implementation across the kelp industry chain.

This year’s exhibition will continue until October 31. Yida Food cordially invites customers, partners, and industry colleagues to keep visiting us. Hall B1, Booth 0308 Taste and exchange at the booth, discuss cooperation, and join hands to create value together!
