Joining a Cross-Regional Cooperation Platform: Yida Food Joins the China-ASEAN Marine Industry Alliance

On October 16, the 2025 China-ASEAN Marine Industry Cooperation and Development Roundtable was held in Fuzhou. During the meeting, a milestone achievement was reached—the official launch of the “China-ASEAN Marine Industry Alliance.” Led by the China-ASEAN Industry Promotion Association, the alliance brings together dozens of authoritative institutions and leading enterprises from both China and ASEAN, covering sectors such as seafood trading, distant-water fisheries, smart aquaculture, and financial technology.
Fujian Yida Food Co., Ltd., together with companies such as Hongdong Fishery Co., Ltd. and Honglong Marine Aquatic Products Co., Ltd., has jointly joined this cross-regional marine industry cooperation platform, working with all parties to promote high-quality development of the regional marine economy.

Partnering with Top Research Institutions: Yida Food Signs Agreement with the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to Deepen Its Focus on High-Value Processing of Kelp.

On October 17, the “Industry-Research Integration” technology transfer and matchmaking event for the 2025 World Marine Equipment Conference was held in the Academic Report Hall of the Fujian Provincial Institute of Innovation. At the event, a centralized signing ceremony was held for technology transfer projects involving key universities, research institutes, and local enterprises.
Among them, Fujian Yida Food Co., Ltd. has successfully signed a contract with the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for the project titled “High-Value Utilization of Kelp Processing By-Products and Development of Functional Foods.” In the future, the company will leverage the Institute of Oceanology, CAS’s specialized technological expertise to inject core momentum into its high-value kelp development business and further strengthen its industrial competitiveness.
